After 6 months of working with a realtor to find the perfect home for our family, and not finding anything we loved, we decided to look into building our dream home.  By chance I was working with the son of a builder, his father being Alan Kotowicz.  I knew nothing about Alan except that he had been building homes for many years, but after that first meeting with him my husband and I knew we wanted to work with Kotowicz Custom Homes.

 

All our friends and family said building would be a nightmare and a grueling process but we were convinced this was the only way to go for us, and we are so glad we didn’t listen to them.  Having never been through the process, Alan worked with us very closely from the very beginning of the process right to the finish of our home.  He had every contact we needed to meet with which was so helpful.  Wanting very specific touches to our homes exterior and interior, Alan was always able and willing to work with us on our special requests and was very upfront and honest with us regarding cost of upgrades, delays due to ordering certain products, and how this may challenge our date of closing.  He wanted to be sure we loved our home and while he was inspecting every aspect of the building process and finish work he always made sure we were involved too.

 

In the end, even with all of our special requests, Alan produced our home in the timeframe promised and for move in prior to Christmas.  We have been in our home for 15 years now and Alan, to this day, is still there for us if we need anything!   He wants his customers to be happy in their homes forever.  He takes pride in making that happen.  To us, Alan is part of the family.  Building our home with Kotowicz Custom Homes is one of our fondest memories of our life together.  It was not a nightmare or grueling process at all because Alan would never want that for any of his customers.  I would build another house with Alan and refer anyone to build with Kotowicz Custom Homes.
